1905 Peckett Steam Loco and Wooden Passenger Carriage Rides- Herberton.

Fares : Adult $20  Child $10 (4 to 15 years) under 4 years are *Free:     Adult consession $18.  Family discount passes etc         

* PLEASE NOTE, under 4’s if the carriage is full,  please nurse them so we can accommodate others.

This fare is for a Herberton Railway Station steam train ride to Historic Village Herberton and return, and includes a tour of our large workshop in Herberton.

*(please note no entry to Historic Village Herberton is included in these fares) Please review times and dates within the booking system.

Bookings also includes a tour of our rolling stock, retoration works and large workshop in Herberton.

The Peckett Steam loco & carriage, will be running on the 24th of November.       In December on Sunday the 8th, then weekend 21st, 22nd then 27th, 28th 29th and 30th.                                     Other dates will be updated soon. (Shool holidays etc)

Herberton Station 115th Birthday Event.

On the 20th of October 2025, we will be having a birthday event to celibrate the Herberton Railway Station’s 115th year.

Cancellation Policy: Please provide notice of cancellation or changes to your booking in writing (via email  sec@athrail.com). For cancellations made more than 14 days prior to departure, booking funds will be refunded less a 20% cancellation fee. For cancellations made more than 7 days prior to departure, booking funds will be refunded less a 50% cancellation fee. For cancellations made less than 3 days in advance of departure, no refund will be given, however, the reservation may be rescheduled to another equivalent period subject to availability.
